A College Expo opened this weekend in Taipei and Kaohsiung, with more than 40 universities competing to recruit Taiwans best and brightest high school graduates. And this time, even two prestigious universities in Hong Kong are joining the competition. In order to attract more people to their booths, each school representatives would go all out to do so including shouting slogans and passing out brochures. Some schools are offering bonus scholarships for accepting admission or full scholarship for 4 years just to attract more students to attend their schools. Besides the local competitive college market, schools from Hong Kong are also in Taiwan to recruit. The University of Hong Kong has already recruited 20 students from Taiwan at its 3rd appearance at this years college expo, In addition, the Chinese University of Hong Kong also recruited 11 students from Taiwan this year with its first appearance at the event. It is a tough decision for students to decide whether to stay in Taiwan or go across the strait to study while they also have to consider their interests and career potential when choosing their schools and majors. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
