A latest research result in London showed that children who consume too much meat would enter puberty early because of the growth hormone and fat content in the meat.

Doctors suggest that children should have a well-balanced diet with legumes and vegetables in addition to proper portions of meat for better health.

Most children love to eat crispy fried chicken and hamburgers, however, eating too much meat may lead to early puberty in kids.

For a 7 year-old girl consuming 200 grams of meat daily, her chance of hitting first period is around 12.5 year-old when compare to girl who eat less than 75 grams of meat everyday, is 1.75 times more likely due to the high animal fat content and growth hormone residue.

In addition, boys who consume too much meat run the risk of infertility, thus experts suggest parents that, for a child 7 years of age, consuming the amount of meat equivalent to a chicken thigh and drumstick would be enough for the day, while children need to eat enough legumes , fruits and vegetables for a well-balanced diet.
