The test results are out, for the students that have taken the college entrance exam this time around.

In order to qualify for college, students will need to score 10 points collectively from all the subjects.

The College Entrance Examination Center did express that the questions are more challenging this year, thus, the overall outcome is not as impressive.

No one received a perfect score for this year's essay in the language section of the college entrance exam. The topic was "Improvise", which 571 people scored 0 on, which is more than last year.

What's worth noting is that the topic score for this year's citizenship and morals and physics did not reach a passing score.

Scores weren't ideal and the College Entrance Examination Center confirmed that questions for these subjects were indeed harder this year.

If students have doubts about their score, they can apply for review between July 22nd through the 26th. But no matter how students tested, they still must fill out their choices for college.

There are 65 schools and 1,601 departments to choose from. Students only need to score 10 points combined for math, physics, and chemistry in order to qualify for college.

Additionally, the new high school curriculum will start in September. The Education Ministry plans to separate math, English, and basic physics into A and B versions, which are different in difficulty.

The college entrance exam will also issue different tests based on the versions 3 years later. Details of the new plan will be issued in August.
