A young boy by the name of Wang Wei had never had a trim for 13 years, but lately he finally had his hair cut and donated it to the Hope Society for Cancer Care.

Wang Wei is getting a haircut for the first time in 13 years, and his hair will be given to the Hope Society for Cancer Care to help make wigs for cancer patients.

Wang Wei's parents kept his hair long ever since he was a child, and although his not so masculine hairdo would lead people to mistaken Wang Wei for a girl, Wang's mom was still reluctant about changing Wang's hairstyle. For the past years, she was the one that washed and combed Wang's hair everyday.

With the hair getting in his way during his swimming classes, the 13-year-old boy has decided to cut it off, for a brand new style before he attends junior high school.

Wang emphasizes that he wants to assist cancer patients because his grandmother also suffered and died from the illness. The young Wang's small gesture is passing along a significant message that is truly admirable.
