Good Morning and thank you for sharing your day with me on CTS News. I am Cary Chuo. Despite partisan disputes over the review of ECFA, the Legislative Yuan will hold a provisional session next Monday to move on to the second reading of the agreement as well as other related bills. In response to KMT's plan to review it as a whole, the DPP said they will insist on doing it article by article, and will also demand a referendum as well as an English version of the ECFA during the session. The Legislative Yuan's second provisional session will be held next Monday as both the ruling and opposition party will focus on the second reading of the ECFA. KMT caucus is working with government officials including the minister without portfolio Yiin Chii-ming to promote the benefit of ECFA. Officials supporting the ECFA believe that the agreement will also help Taiwan's future cooperation with Japan. However, disputes over the process of reviewing the ECFA remain unsolved. DPP lawmaker Kuan Bi-ling said that they will insist on reviewing the agreement article by article. DPP plans to propose the English version of the agreement and also the referendum on ECFA during the session. Apart from the ECFA, KMT lawmakers hope to review other 14 bills including the new regulations governing Chinese students coming to Taiwan, and national health insurance reforms. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
