Students at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology have designed a new light switch panel which projects a variety of animal forms. The LED-projected light has won the Ministry of Education's award. Here on CTS, let's take a look at the creative designs that make our life more interesting and convenient.

After turning off the lights, a cute reindeer appears on the wall. This projected image can be changed by simply changing a cardboard cutout.

These students used a traditional light switch panel and modified it to make it more interesting, adding a little more creativity to life. This simple and practical design, allowed these students to win the 2010 Taiwan International Design Competition along with prize money of 400,000 NTD. These students say that they will use the money to participate in other international competitions.

A silver award went to another group of students that developed something to help people finding their seats in the dark movie theaters.

Coming with the success, they do worry about that their invention will soon be copied.
