What is the secret in developing a beautiful garden? Follow the CTS camera, as we take you to Taichung City's Shinshe, where it took 10 years to create the stunning scenery with over 10,000 cherry trees.

Pink cherry blossoms are seen around the mountain and swinging in the wind.

Although the temperatures are only around 10 degrees Celsius, the pink flower sea attracts many visitors who come all the way to take photos of the gorgeous flowers.

You might think that you are in Japan.

But in fact, we are at a mountain in Shinshe of Taichung, where cherry flowers have blossomed, creating a breathtaking view.

Since flowers grow robustly and intensely, they look bigger and more beautiful.

Thanks to the recent cold fronts, the flowering period of local cherry season extends into mid-February.

According to the Shinshe Township Office, the area has more than 100,000 cherry trees.

Local residents also hope the tree planting efforts can be combined with the existing tourism resources.

Not to be outdone by the Taipei International Flora Expo and Yangminshan, the area in Taichung hopes to create a beautiful secret garden in central Taiwan with its spectacular cherry trees.
