According to Harvard School of Public Health, men who consume six or more cups of coffee daily are about 20 percent less likely to develop any form of prostate cancer, compared to non-coffee drinkers. And that is not all the study is implying. Those who love coffee also have a 60 percent lower risk of lethal prostate cancer, the most severe form of the disease. The research has been conducted every four years, involving close to 50,000 men in the U.S. over the span of 20 years to further examine the association between coffee consumption and prostate cancer, which is the second leading cause of death in the U.S among men, affecting one out of six men during their lifetimes. Apparently the relationship is more solid than we think with the finding applying to both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee. But even with this new report, coffee is still far from being the cure of health problems. Experts say that high caffeine consumption can impact health negatively, including contributing to heart palpitation, and osteoporosis.
