Renowned writer and talk show host Kevin Tsai has just added another Kevin Tsai is no stranger to outlandish outfits, as evidenced by many of the Golden Horse Award shows he hosted. And this time he's got a new look again. Not for another hosting job, but for the first acting performance in his 21-year career. "Allow me to remind you… You can only guess once. If you get it right, your dream will come true." In the highly anticipated new TV drama "Material Queen," Tsai plays a mysterious magician who has a key influence on the protagonist's destiny. And although he only has a couple of minutes' screen time, it probably took him hours to get in costume. "I had to wear a lot of things, Such as gold-tinted eye shadow, Top hat and veil, And Dali-esque moustache. All sorts of stuff." The costume was designed by no other than Patricia Field, the stylist behind "Sex and the City." And we are not sure whether she had the film "V for Vendetta" in mind while working on this assignment. Tsai is usually comfortable in front of the camera, but he admitted that he was very nervous while acting. "I had trouble delivering my lines. It was so embarrassing. I was under a lot of pressure." Yet for a man as talented as he is, acting probably won't be too much of a challenge, as long as he is willing to give himself more chances in the future. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
