Taiwanese golfer Yani Tseng once again asserted her dominance in the sport by winning the LPGA Championship on Sunday, and the 22-year-old athlete now becomes the youngest golfer in the modern era to collect four major titles. Tseng finished at 19-under 269, matching the LPGA record low at a major while beating the runner-up by ten strokes. Her exceptional performance has drawn comparisons to retired golf legend Annika Sorenstam, who praised Tseng for playing "amazing golf," and warned other players on the tour that as great as the current world number one already is, she has not reached her full potential yet. Tseng will next compete in the U.S. Women's Open next month, the only major tournament she hasn't won yet. And a victory there will make Tseng the seventh female golfer in history to achieve a career grand slam, not to mention the youngest. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
