Hollywood star George Clooney lands in the Toronto Film Festival to premiere his new drama film, "The Descendants", while Brad Pitt makes his appearance with his long-time partner Angelina Jolie, to promote his baseball movie, "Moneyball".

George Clooney walked the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival on Saturday as he promotes his second film, "The Descendants", after showcasing his directorial debut film, "The Ides of March" the previous day.

"It's really nice to have it here. I have two films here at the same time. It's really fun and this film I'm really proud of, so proud to be a part of,"

"The Descendants", Clooney plays a father of two, who discovers that his wife has another lover in her life, following a boating accident that left her in a coma.

Directed by Alexander Payne, Clooney praises the man behind the camera lens for making this family tale a must-watch.

"I don't know, but don't you think he is? There's a sense that he's able to turn things from funny to sad really quickly and he's just a master of it. I'm not quite sure why he's so good, but he's really good. He's five for five in films."

"The Descendants" which is already generating Oscar buzz, will be hitting the theaters this coming November.

At the star-studded event in the city's Roy Thomson Hall, Brad Pitt brings along his other attractive half, Angelina Jolie, to accompany him for the premiere of "Moneyball", which is based on the real-life story of baseball general manager Billy Beane.

"There's no way you're going to portray someone's life in a two hour film completely, but if you can get the essence of and the dynamics of what was happening then and the feeling of who they are, at least a truthful interpretation, then you're going to be all right."

Pitt may be on top of his game when it comes to playing the character, but he's not as smooth when it comes to swinging the bat.

"It's shameful how little I know about baseball, what I know about it was a pop fly in fourth grade that I got 18 stitches."

"Moneyball", which also stars Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jonah Hill, is slated for release on September 23rd in the U.S.

The 36th Toronto International Film Festival, which will run until September 18th, will screen a total of 268 feature and 68 short films.
