U.S. pop group The Black Eyed Peas is rocking the stage for a good cause. Their latest showcase, "Concert 4 NYC" marks the largest ever held on the Great Lawn of the city's Central Park.

Nearly 60,000 fans were lucky enough to witness a free concert by The Black Eyed Peas in New York City's Central Park, which is organized to help raise funds for the Robin Hood Foundation. [3]Music lovers were encouraged throughout the gig to contribute via text messages, with all proceeds going to New Yorkers who are living in poverty.

Through the power of the chart-topping stars, millions of dollars have been given so far, to support the future openings of the three Peapod Academies in New York City through the charity foundation, which will provide music and artistic education for disadvantaged youths.
