Australian authorities have arrested four Spanish nationals, after discovering 300 kilograms of cocaine in the hull of the yacht off of the coast of Queensland, marking what is believed to be the fifth largest cocaine seizure in Australian history. The cocaine that was found has an estimated street value of up to $79 million U.S. dollars. In addition, police also seized 3 million U.S. dollars in cash, following raids related to the incident. The yacht, named Friday Freedom, which was heading from Vanuatu to Australia, was closely watched by the Australian Federal Police for its links to an organized crime syndicate.
