"ACT OF VALOR" CONQUERS BOX OFFICE

　　Military drama, "Act of Valor" grabbed the top spot, beating expectations with $24.7 million.Inspired by true events, military thriller "Act of Valor" stars real-life, active-duty U.S. Navy SEALs alongside professional actors to play the plot of a rescue mission of a kidnapped CIA agent.

　　Tyler Perry's "Good Deeds" came in second, earning close to $16 million.Dwayne Johnson's "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" stayed strong at number three on its third weekend, taking in an additional $13.5 million.

　　Action flick "Safe House" with Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds grossed in 11.4 million U.S. dollars on its third weekend, proving that the audiences are loving the punches and the kicks.

　　Romantic drama "The Vow" starring Channing Tatum and Rachel MacAdams rounded up the top five at the box office, with $10 million.

Both R-rated comedy "Wanderlust" and thriller "Gone" debuted poorly at the box office, collecting $6.6 million and $5 million in ticket sales respectively.
