Returning from his four-year break, Will Smith said at the news conference that playing the Agent J character for a third time feels like home, and shooting the film is like joining a family reunion.

Ten years after the last installment of the "Men in Black" series, Will Smith plays a role of "Agent J" who goes back to the past to save the earth in danger while Tommy Lee Jones plays a role of "Agent K" who suddenly disappears even though he has a main key to solve the problem. Josh Brolin also appears as a "young Agent K" who challenges a mission with "Agent J."

When speaking of his co-star Josh Brolin, Will Smith said that Brolin did a good job in capturing the role of a young Agent K.

Smith said "If you mess up Agent K, that's a little bit of a career assassination," "It was one of the most iconic duos of American cinematic history, but the first time he opened up his mouth on set, he got applause. It was such an uncanny portrayal, and he's actually not going to get credit because it's so perfect, it just goes away. By five minutes in, you're just watching a young Tommy Lee Jones."

Brolin, who has portrayed Geroge W. Bush in the 2008 film "W," said that he welcomed the challenge of playing a younger version of Agent K.

"Tommy, to me, is a much more difficult cadence than W was, so it was a challenge that I think I would've regretted had I turned it down, and I don't want to regret anything."

Tommy Lee Jones said that he thought the first and the most recent "Men in Black" movie have the most imagination.

"When it works, it's funny and it's scary and it offers originality, which is a scarce commodity; that describes the first one," "The second one was very successful but didn't work quite as well because we didn't find the requisite originality. I think there's some rather original thinking going on with this movie."

After participating in the alien movies for three times, Smith joked that if aliens did exist, they'd visit him first.

"I think it would be arrogant of us as humans to think that we're the only living creatures in the universe," "I haven't met any yet and I hope not to, but if they show up they'll probably come to my house because of all those alien movies I made. They're going to think I know something."

The original Men in Black was released in 1997 and banked 589 million US dollars in global ticket sales. The 2002 sequel, also a blockbuster hit, raked in 441 million internationally. and the latest installment "Men in Black 3" will open in Taiwan May 23.
