An art exhibition showing the great works of the late legendary Danish author, Hans Andersen is available here in Taiwan. Besides being credited for writing children's stories, including the classic tales of "The Little Mermaid" and "The Emperor's New Clothes", Andersen also possessed another expertise. Let's take a look at an additional skill we discovered about this renowned writer who passed away more than 130 years. Hans Andersen's classic children's stories are very captivating. But you probably didn't know that Andersen, who was a great storyteller, was also a papercutting artist. At this exhibition, in celebrating his contribution to the children's world, these authentic cut outs made by Andersen add a sense of liveliness to the stories. Also on display includes his personal manuscripts, his tall hat and the 200-year-old leather suitcase which he carried with him on his travels. These historic items help bring visitors back to the fairytale world that Andersen once created. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
