The Association of Terrestrial Television Networks of R.O.C has a new president. Chen Kang-hsin, the general manager of FTV, took over the reins on Wednesday from CTS general manager Chen Jen-ran to assume this additional role. The new president says he will promote cooperation among member TV stations to start a new chapter for Taiwans broadcast TV industry.
The 21st annual general member meeting of the Association of Terrestrial Televistion Networks of Taiwan of R.O.C. took place recently, where the new president Chen Kang Hsin, who is the general manager of FTV, was elected.
He received the seal from CTS general Manager Chen Cheng Ran andtook a picture together.
The new president said that the current environment for terrestrial TV stations is tough to operate, no matter waht, that would be the responsibility he can not turn down.
He called out to the government to pay more attention to futuredigital TV development while remind the association members to attend the meetings, saying that there is still promising future for Taiwanese terrestrial TV.
He also reminds all station high ranking officials to work together in exchanges for the better future of terrestrial TV
