The stage play, "Out in May" is in the process of being adapted into a film. Let's bring you behind the scene to catch the making of this drama-filled story that's mainly set in Kaohsiung. With Japanese style this old house has seen the director capture this image as actors have been put into positions as this is CPC's old Kaohsiung residence. It is only the first time it has been used to make a movie, but also the first film of this stage director. The film shows the life of loving grandparents play in this old Kaohsiung CPC housing, affecting young males and females concept and attitude towards life. The Godot Theater has begun filming "Out in May," telling the story of different generations in one family and their love. How to make this transition to the cinema is proving to be a major challenge. Although dramatic acting is used at the climax of a play, showing a strong dramatic tension to attract the audience's attention is equally important though the domestic film industry and competitive cross-border challenges has put lots of pressure on Godot Theater. This is why 70% of the scenery is in Kaohsiung, which aside from benefiting from the popularity of filming in Kaohsiung, the theater is also hoping for something new as well as breathing new life into domestic film and theater. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
