The players are ready for the annual Baseball All-Star Game which has kicked off at the Tianmu Stadium.

Even President Ma Ying-jeou and the government officials showed up for great support for the members that are decked out in red and white.

All of his highest officials have shown up in order to show their support for the ROC Baseball All-Star team.

Because of a delay in President Ma's schedule, the kick-off ceremony was also postponed by a half hour.

His opening remarks were short and to the point so that baseball fans can watch the game without further delay.

Ma's intention was to bring back the baseball fervor to the fans and remind them of the importance of their passion.

Kicking off the game with Ma, four adorable little baseball players basked in the attention from adoring baseball fans.

Right before the game, singer Fan Yi-cheng gave an opening performance, and Mao Bo was invited to host the various fun activities and competitions.

For the fans, the overall experience was well worth the price of the tickets.

Although numerous fans could be seen cheering on the bleachers, the overall fervor and passion pales in comparison to the audience turnout in the past.

The league is doing their best to reignite the baseball fervor that was lost after the box office setbacks and haze of last year's news of baseball gambling.
