The baseball team of Taipeis Chong-qing Junior High recently won the title of the Asia-Pacific Junior League Tournament, clinching a berth in next month's championship series in the US. This marks the first time in 15 years for a junior baseball team from Taiwan to reach the final stage of the tournament. Taipei's Chongqing Junior High's baseball team are the new darlings as in Jakarta, Indonesia, they won six consecutive games to win the Asia-Pacific junior league baseball championship gaining an invitation to participate in the United States World Junior League Championship. After nearly 15 years, Taiwan is once again returning to the World Junior League baseball tournament. Morale has been boosted by Chongqing Junior High's Asia-Pacific Championship led by out Also, there was strong batting from Tsai Cheng-Yu who in 3 games smacked 3 home runs and scored 7 points for the team.He also hoped to smack 2 grand slam home runs with 2 outs. With competition is less than a month away, Chongqing will start intensive training. Only simple exercises such as pitching can be done indoors as they don't even have a baseball field, and in case of rain they cannot practice though there is a covered playground with shelter though these nets are not specially for baseballs.And these pillars mean that pitchers frequently hit themselves.
