A number of domestic medical groups demanded yesterday that the government should not allow medical degrees from China to be recognized, in order to safeguard the overall quality of Taiwan's medical system. . Educational agencies in Taiwan claim that the government will soon recognize Chinese diplomas, and offer to help local students unable to get into domestic medical schools obtain their medical degrees in China. At the same time, Chinese medical schools have begun recruiting and accepting top Taiwanese students. Taiwan's government is concerned about the outflow of top medical students, but there are also concerns that recognizing Chinese medical diplomas would detrimentally affect Taiwan's medical quality. Many domestic medical groups are extremely opposed to the recognition of Chinese diplomas in Taiwan, saying that China's current medical certification system is chaotic and the channels through which Taiwanese students end up studying in China are suspect. The Legislative Yuan will be reviewing relevant regulations during an extraordinary session next month. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
