Many students are selecting to work at the National Palace Museum for a unique kind of learning experience. The museum is opening up for students who are seeking to acquire knowledge about Chinese history. National Palace Museum ticket sales have soared since a ban on Chinese tourists to Taiwan was lifted. The volunteers wearing red vests and carrying signs are kept busy as they answer questions and urge tourists to keep their voices down. Ms. Fan, who is a Huajiang High School student, wants to major in history and is one of 170 high school students that are spending their summer volunteering at the museum. The National Palace Museum believes that every student is a cultural seed, and its summer internship program therefore has a 100% acceptance rate. Interns not only learn about art and history, but also gain experience in the tourism, service, and education sectors. Although they are working for free, all of the interns say that the experience is well worth it. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
