A newly built luxurious resort, the Wen Wan Resort has opened, waging a war against the nearby high-end hotels at the Sun Moon Lake. The hotel spent 18 million NT dollars on gold foil for the mast-shaped structure and its gold toilets. A one-night stay here starts at 20,000NT$, while the room price at the Lalu, a premium resort in the neighborhood, starts at 15,000NT$. Featuring the gold decorated structure which mimics the sail of a ship, the newly opened hotel is claimed to be the Burj Al Arab in Sun Moon Lake. The NT$2 billion construction features the lobby with a 45-meter high ceiling and all kinds of luxurious services, including an outdoor swimming pool, which overlooks mountains. Inside the suite, there are gold basin and toilet. Each room has a jacuzzi. A one-night stay starts at NT$20,000. Next to the hotel is the established Lalu resort, which is not afraid of the new neighborhood as it is always proud of its lakefront views of the Sun Moon Lake. Each room is at least 25-ping and built of wood. The room price starts at NT$12,000 per night. The resort owns a big swimming pool with infinity edge overlooking the lake. Even an Indian yoga teacher is invited to teach hotel guests how to do yoga in water for total body relaxation. Targeted at top-end customers, the two hotels are now offering their best to lure guests. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
