It's rather difficult to be creative when it comes to celebrating a birthday for someone who is a centenarian.

A man from Nantou, Mr. Chen makes sure he gives his grandmother a memorable one by cycling around the island for 15 days and collecting 100 messages from strangers on the road, all to wish his grandma a happy 100th birthday.

In Tainan, these bicycle riders wearing yellow happily sing a happy birthday message and in Kaohsiung's Sizhiiwan a foreigner and a Japanese woman also give such a blessing.

Mr. Chen is quite a filial member of this family, and to celebrate the 100th birthday of his grandmother made this short film.

He spent many days underneath the hot sun and asked strangers which he met to provide birthday wishes.

It included wishes from couples about to be married as well as families on an outdoor outing as Chen finally collected 100 different birthday wishes as he finally returned home on her birthday.

A cake with 100 candles as well as these blessings collected by her grandson made her one of the most fortunate grandmothers in the world.
