If you have problems with your eyesight even after adjustments are made, a visit to the doctor should be your next step.

A female patient experienced blood-shot eyes, and started to have trouble seeing clearly. It wasn't until a month later, she found out that she has corneal dystrophy, which is when the cornea loses its normal clarity. If the case is serious, one may need a corneal transplant.

The blood-shot eyes from rubbing could lead to sudden lost of most of the eyesight. The symptom could be the corneal dystrophy.

A female patient in her late 30s recently suffered from itchy red eyes and didn't go to the ophthalmologist until a month later and was diagnose with corneal dystrophy with her cornea swollen

and the gray spots being the shattered cornea, which caused eyesight to be weakened.

In worst case, she would need cornea transplant.

Those over the age of 50 should be aware for corneal dystrophy, especially because it runs in the family. It is suggested that once the eyesight start to weaken, a check up at the ophthalmologist is a must.
