In Kaohsiung City, it's not a problem to get around with the variety of transportation method that's being offered. But how much of these public systems are being used by the people?

The very first World Share Transport forum has been conducted for further improvement and to promote rideshare in support of a greener environment.

When the MRT service arrived, a group of foreigners quietly walked into the car and observed.

They are not tourists but traffic experts invited to observe the Kaohsiung City's public transportation environment.

The city has a MRT system, but which is not frequently used.

It has a bicycle lane but for leisure purpose.

These researchers from 14 countries and under the age of 35 will provide the Kaohsiung City Government some of their thoughts and ideas after finishing their observation tour.

Although the city has diverse transportation options, it has a lot room to improve.

Researchers choose to organize the world's first rideshare forum in Kaohsiung and hope to use the city's experience to promote the idea of rideshare.

Topics in the forum on September 18th include the current traffic conditions of Kaohsiung City and the traffic habits.

The forum hopes to promote the concept of less use of cars and motorcycles in Taiwan to create a greener future for the society.
