A series of scandals involving high court judges have seriously sabotaged the image of the legal system.

The Judicial Reform Foundation is now proposing the "Judges and Prosecutors Assessment Act", in hoping to disqualify and remove judges who are not doing their jobs through legislation.

On the upcoming Saturday, netizens are to launch the White Rose campaign and take to the streets to protest against the recent lenient sentences given to child molesters.

One of the appeals is to retire incompetent judges.

The evaluation of judges is singled out in the effort to build an exit mechanism for judges.

The public ramped up their criticism over the bribery scandals of high court judges , which was reported in July.

It's been 20 years since the public has been waiting for an exit mechanism for inappropriate judges, but the mechanism hasn't been established yet.

The Judicial Reform Foundation and nearly 100 local groups have formed an alliance to push forward "Judges and Prosecutors Assessment Act."

They openly request the Legislative Yuan to respond to the people's expectations and quickly write the law accordingly.
