Is it your dream job to be a flight attendant? If so, here's your chance to make it come true. With the global economy gradually improving, many airline carriers, both domestic and international, have started recruiting new crewmembers.

But it's not going to be so easy. For instance, Cathay Pacific has received more than 6,000 job applications for its 200 openings of flight attendants.

These well-dressed people are all here to apply for the flight attendant position at various airlines.

Other than attracted by the good pay, some are here for the exciting lifestyle.

Starting from this month, other than the two major local airlines, Singapore and Cathay Pacific are also recruiting in Taiwan.

Two hundred seats are being offered at Cathay and 6000 applicants from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore have all sent in their form.

Since ECFA has been signed, many airlines are expecting the business to revive quickly.

And since the Taiwanese gives the impression of being hard-working, they hope to recruit most of their staff from Taiwan.

Other than Cathay, the deadline for Eva Air is coming up on the 5th.

However, to avoid all rumors of having personal connections and favoritisms at the recruitment and the bombardment from the prep schools advertisements,

this year, the airlines have noted on their websites that no favoritism will be allowed.

Other than Cathay and Eva, Mandarin and Singapore Air will also be recruiting around this time of the year and even though there are only going to be 500 seats, 20,000 applicants are to be expected.
