A well-know budget airline in Malaysia will be experiencing a drop of ticket sale with this kind of accusation. It is now being bombarded with complaints and criticism for its poor service. So far, the company has not commented back, and the consumer protection officials are looking into this issue.

One-way ticket from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur costs only 888 NTD.

It was a promotional deal when low-cost airline Air Asia began its service in Taiwan back in April last year. But there have been some complaints. Ms. Liu and four of her friends booked the tickets individually. But one of the flight services was cancelled. And the airline didn't notify them.

According to a proper procedure, the airline should arrange consumer to fly on the next available service. But the two passengers' message on the Internet weren't responded. Ms. Lee also complained to legislators that she had paid for a comfort kit prior to boarding but was told that the order didn't come through when onboard.

Responding to consumers' reaction, Air Asia says it hasn't received the details and cannot make further comments.

Consumers ombudsmen say that since the company has a branch in Taiwan, the local staff will be asked to explain the incident, while customers are reminded to save all the transaction pages to better protect their own rights.
