The mutton hot pot restaurant is busy catering the crowd of customers since the winter officially begins.

Due to the traditional habit of having tonic on the day that winter begins, the business growth is 30% than normal days.

Before meal time, many have ordered take-outs.

Speaking of tonic, many people think of mutton and ginger duck hot pot, but they are not suitable for everyone.

According to doctors, the two hot pots are of warm tonic, which may be too hot for those with "hot" body constitution type or late sleepers and may affect their sleeping quality.

Chinese medicine doctors remind us that one should avoid having tonic if suffering from cold or having menstrual period.

People who are overweight or have chronic illness should moderate their intake of tonic soup, to prevent cardiovascular burden.
