Respected non-profit organization "Teacher Chang" celebrated its 41st anniversary on Thursday. Having helped more than 2.3 million people through its free telephone counseling service, the foundation observed that while most cases it processed in the early years involved pressure from school work, help-seekers today are mainly troubled by family issues.

It has been 41 year since the founding of the Teacher Chang foundation with its 1980 hotline helped many people who needed counseling service.

All those answering the phones are volunteers who would stand by for phone calls year round. In the past 41 years, the foundation had helped over 2.3 million people.

Over the years, the problems of those who called in have changed, too.

Many students would call in, one of them is a current junior in college who had called the hotline during 8th grade, the experience influenced the student to choose Psychology as major.

Another woman brought a letter from her song to thank the foundation for its help.

Every phone call has a story with possible change for good with the help from the volunteers like a miracle.

November 11th is the founding anniversary of the foundation with many who had received help from the foundation returning to show their appreciations.

The foundation promised to continue support the public with free counseling service.
