While it's no secret that real estate prices in Taipei are sky-high, you're probably not sure which piece of property in the city carries the highest price tag. According to the latest data, that distinction belongs to a luxury apartment complex in the Xinyi District, which is selling at 3 million NT dollars per ping, or 35.6 square feet.

This building is known as the most luxurious residence in the Xinyi District with a total of 48 units with the smallest being 200 pings.

Construction has yet to be finished but from the outside these units look quite large and luxurious.

The price is quite high as the building materials are also quite special, as the exterior uses special stone from Brazil which is relatively rare with a high price.

All of these items push up the cost on this super-prime location as each unit has a selling price of at least 2 million NT$ per ping.

In addition to these top high end apartments, the most expensive single-family villas are in the Xinyi District.

The plot only has 6 buildings constructed in a modern style as walking inside one has a private path and the area is quite large with each ping selling for 1.8 million NT$.

Each has already sold as it is no exaggeration that thethe Xinyi District has truly become a luxurious residential area.
