Taipei 101 building is going to put on a 288 seconds fireworks show that is arranged by the explosion artist, Tsai Kuo Chiang, using 30,000 rounds of fireworks and costing NT$ 60 million. The show will start 3 minutes before midnight at DaJia River Park in DaZi with a special 100-shape firework to be released near the Taipei 101 building symbolizing 100 year of the ROC. After midnight, the fireworks will round up toward the top of Taipei 101 building like a dragon climbing up on it. All other 18 buildings in the Xinyi District will also synch with the main fireworks show at Taipei 101, including Taipei City government and department stores in the area. Yunling County's Jiafusan Amusement Park lit up its freewheel last year with heart shaped fireworks; this year, the ferris wheel will be turned into a giant smiley and the show will last 11 minutes with 15,000 shots of fireworks. In southern Taiwan, E-Da World is going to have a show of over 10 minute and 50,000 shots of fireworks, making it the show with the most high and low fireworks in Taiwan.
