If you find your life a bit too hectic this year, here's some good news to cheer you up. According to the latest work calendar released by the Central Personnel Admistration, there will be a total of 115 non-working days next year, an all-time high in the history of Taiwan.

Everyone wants to know how many vacation days there are next year. According to the Central Personnel Administration's preliminary schedule for government workers, there will be a total of 115 vacation days next year.

This is the most vacation days since 2002 when Taiwan implemented the 5 day working week. There will be six 3 day weekends, and Chinese New Year's will have 6 days off.

Another five 3 day weekend is because a national holiday is on Mon. 228 holiday will get 3 days off. While the first Children's Day is quickly followed by Tomb Sweeping Day, for a total of 4 days.

The Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Holiday are all 3 day vacations. Business owners say they will treat the holidays with a normal outlook. Taiwan will be a total of 11 memorial holidays next year.

Both China and Singapore both have 11. Japan and Korea have 15 and Hong Kong has 17, which are all more than Taiwan. But Taiwan is ahead of the 10 days in US, Germany, and France, and UK's 8 days.

The Personnel Administration will make set the official calender for next year this afternoon.
