In politics, Preliminary work for the DPP's presidential nomination is already underway, and an official nominee of the party is expected to be decided by the end of next March based exclusively on opinion polls. However, former vice-president Annette Lu openly contested the criterion and requested that internal voting by party members should also be included. The DPP is planning on finishing the presidential candidate nomination process by the end of March and it is rumored that it is going to base the process on public opinion. Former president Annette Lu, who many speculate as someone who is seeking party nomination, held a press conference, asking the DPP to also include the party members vote in addition to the public poll. In attendance of the press conference was the leader of Taiwan pro-independence Ku Kuan Ming and lawmaker Tsai Tong Ron, who both supported Lu, who also pointed out that, all primary candidates need to participate in all 21 cities and counties debates. Lu's opinions clearly showed that she is not satisfied with what the DPP central is trying to do, which is to wrap up the nomination process by the end of March. However, Lu still did not show any indications that she is interested in seeking nomination. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
