To celebrate the country's centenary, Taiwan Railways Administration's trains have been touring around the island. With its stop now at Taitung, more than 100 married couples have been invited to renew their vows in an aboriginal wedding, and to catch a ride to the Hualien-Taitung Valley for a romantic getaway.

The platform of the Taitung Train Station welcomed many guests early in the morning.

They are 100 married couples and two pairs of newlyweds.

They were invited to take the cruise train, which was launched as part of celebration of the country's centenary.

Two pairs of newlyweds were seen in aboriginal dress as they experienced the wedding ceremony of the natives.

Taiwan Railway Administration also prepared a gift made of train tracks for the two couples, hoping their marriage can stay on a happy track.

This year marks the country's 100th anniversary, the railway administration continued the 4th segment of the promotion at Taitung, with the old locomotive numbered R 101, giving these 100 couples a romantic day trip to the Huatung Valley.
