The Council for Economic Planning and Development has released the latest economic report, which shows a yellow-red light for the fourth consecutive month, indicating a stable growth in the economy.

Still, despite the signs of an economic turnaround, many people say that they can't feel the effects and their wages still remain unchanged.

Right before the Chinese New year, many people rush to shop at department stores for new clothing, as the retail industry believes the economy is bouncing back.

In addition, due to that fact that many industries made profits last year, especially the high tech and financial industries are showing growth, which led to many to , once again, hold year end parties and increase employee wages, which benefited the hotels catering service with a growth of 30%.

However, not all industries did well last year, travel industry, for example, are seeing a 15% drop in tourist going abroad this year compare to last years numbers.

Though many businesses believe that the public is spending more, which would also revive the economy, however, many are still watching the trend to see how long it would last and how many industries can benefit from the trend
