A group of mentally challenged individuals are gradually becoming bakery masters, thanks to the lessons offered to them by a charity organization, located in Guanyi Township of Taoyuan County. In the next story, let's take you for a visit to the home of love for the needy. Yuan-chen completed a pattern of a penguin using chocolate sauce. Born mentally challenged, the 21-year-old was sent to the shelter at the age of 18. Although he's shy, he's dedicated to his work. Here in the Love Home, he's not a patient but an instructor, teaching others how to make cakes. This girl Hai-jin is also teaching people how to make cakes. She says that she's good at spreading cream. Compared to Yuan-chen, Hai-jin can better express herself and she also praises others when they do well. For many of the people here, this is like a big family. During Chinese New Year, social workers at the shelter also stay here to celebrate the holidays with them. Here the mentally challenged individuals learn to bake and interact with others. It's a place where they get to enjoy each other's company and have fun. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
