China's top negotiator on Taiwan affairs, Chen Yun-lin, took a cruise of the Kaohsiung harbor yesterday before concluding his two-day trip to the southern city. Despite protests against his visit by pro-independent groups, Chen appeared to be positively impressed by what he had seen, saying that he would invest in the harbor at the first opportunity. On their second and last day in Kaohsiung, the Chinese trade delegation led by Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits Chairman Chen Yunlin took a cruise around Kaohsiung Harbor. Due to pan-green protests the previous day, police took extra measures to prevent protesters from breaking into violence. Before leaving the city, Chen told the media that he sees a great deal of potential for cooperation between Kaohsiung and China. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
