NATIONAL TREASURES SAFE IN TAIWAN

In the wake of the recent theft in Beijing's Palace Museum, many people are now wondering if the security system in Taiwan's National Palace Museum is reliable. According to the representatives, the National Palace Museum is equipped with an advanced security system, which includes anti-theft devices and infrared monitoring capabilities, in safeguarding the national treasures.

The Emperor KangXi Dragon Script is with over 10,000 pieces of agates, such a rare item on display had many staff worried that it would be stolen or damaged somehow.

According to the National Palace Museum, ever since the opening of the museum, there has not been a case, such as the theft case of Beijing Palace Museum that just took place.

All those items on display at the National Palace Museum are encased and the public cannot touch them.

The case is made of explosion safe glass with sound sensing alarm.

Should the case be opened or smashed, the alarm would sound off immediately.

In addition, the whole buildings designs include theft prevention, explosion prevention, and infrared light sensors for 24 hours.

The security guards, police and police dogs are also around to make sure none of the national treasures are to be taken out of the museum by unauthorized people.
