The late Grammy-award winning star, Amy Winehouse's parents and her brother, Alex were seen outside of her London flat, making an emotional visit to the shrine that was made to pay tribute to the singer. Winehouses ex-lover Reg Traviss was also present at the memorial site, while the now divorced couple, Mitch and Janis Winehouse read the letters left behind from fans in tears. Winehouses family said that they are "devastated and speechless" about the sudden death of their daughter, while thanking everyone for their great support. In a previous statement, they family said that Amy "has left a gaping hole in their lives." According to the police, an autopsy has been conducted at St. Pancras Mortuary, and since the result was inconclusive, further toxicology tests will be needed to establish a formal cause of death, which may take as long as four weeks. Amy's funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, in which a small event will be held for few friends and family. Winehouse was found dead in her London home by her security guard on Saturday, with sources saying that she could have been dead for up to six hours.
