Hip Hop star Jay-Z's seat is secured for the 4th time around. Although his earnings have been cut by around $23 million U.S. dollars from last year, the rapper, has claimed his fourth Cash Kings crown in five years according to Forbes magazine, after raking in $37 million U.S. dollars. The lack of tour this year is primarily the reason why he's making substantially less bucks. Just slightly under the New Yorker is Sean "Diddy" Combs who made $35 million U.S. dollars at number 2. Only about 20 percent of his earnings are from his music, while he's making most of his cash from his clothing lines and other ventures.Kanye West pulled in $16 million U.S. dollars at number 3, and it's the first time for West to be listed as the top three since 2009. And West may be getting a share of Jay Z's big pie, with their collaborative studio album, "Watch the Throne" available in stores now. "Lil Wayne" Carter took in $15 million U.S. dollars, giving him the fourth position on the list. Bryan Williams, known as "Birdman" in the hip-hop world, came to a tie with Lil Wayne with also $15 million U.S. dollars. This year, the veteran musicians, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eminem all tied for the sixth place with $14 million U.S. dollars. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
