The photo book "Love and Hope + Five," is released with two versions, featuring various works by Singaporean celebrity photographer, Leslie Kee, with Hamasaki on both covers. The 252-page photo book encloses portraits of 200 female celebrities from 32 different countries, including pictures of Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and Faye Wang. While Kee was filming and visiting Ishinomaki City and Onagawa Town, Miyagi Prefecture during the earthquake, where the tsunami swept away homes and caused casualties, Kee was inspired to do something meaningful to help the victims. From there, he decided to go forward with the project in raising funds for those who were deeply affected by the natural disaster. "I stay in Japan, firmly, to try to do something so that people in Japan still believe in the country. As a foreigner, I think I have a stronger statement. A lot of foreigners, run away, but I decided to stay." As for Hamasaki, she said that she hopes the book can help encourage quake victims. This is not the first time the two talents have collaborated. Kee and Hamasaki have worked together on numerous projects, including the cover of her latest mini album, "Five" and her latest music video, "Brillante." In the music video "Brillante", Hamasaki dressed up as Cleopatra and was surrounded by half-naked men. Hamasaki said the shooting with Kee was, "amazing", but she was afraid that her fans wouldnt like the video because of scenes of nudity. However, to her surprise, her fans gave her positive response on the MV.The photo book, which is limited to 2500 copies, has been released on June 1st, 2011, with proceeds going to the Red Cross' disaster relief and re-development project in Japan's affected regions. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
