Moscow is the latest hot spot for fashionistas as the city plays host for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia-Spring- 2012 collections. Opening the week-long event was veteran Russian designer Slava Zaitsev. Staying loyal to his classic style, Zaitsev created garments with geometrical forms and soft flowing lines. His color palette varied from black-and-white to brown, to brights such yellow and red. The designer stressed the long shelf-life of his creations. Slava Zaitsev, (Russian Fashion Designer): "I created a very simple collection, which is very clear and definite, it's designed for all people. And because it's classic, it has to be always in the wardrobe as a sign of a good taste." Design studio 'Laboratory 13" took a complete different route. The group consisting mostly of Zaitsev's students, presented a modern collection that experimented with lines, forms and colors. Fashion fans seem to appreciate their creativity. Darya, (Fashion Fan from Moscow) "All of them are very talented and I enjoyed their collection very much." More than 80 designers will boast their talents at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, that promises to showcase the finest of Post-Soviet fashion. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
