HUGH GRANT, A NEW DAD

　　British actor Hugh Grant's representative has confirmed the news, that Grant has become a father for the first time, and "is the delighted father of a baby girl".

　　In a statement, the representative adds that,"He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms."

　　The longtime bachelor, who was romantically involved with Elizabeth Hurley for 13 years, then Jemima Khan for three, has not yet revealed who the mother is.

　　However, rumor has it, that the mother of his daughter, may be the aspiring Chinese actress he was seen on several dates with, Tinglan Hong, who is 19 years his junior. Pictures emerged last month, showing a heavily pregnant Hong walking the streets of London.
