At least nine people have been confirmed dead after a 5.6-magnitude earthquake rocked eastern Turkey on Wednesday night. 25 buildings have since been destroyed, including a six-storey structure, where journalists and aid workers were residing. 23 people have been rescued, as emergency teams continue to search for survivors day and night. Reports say that at least 100 others are still buried under the rubble. The earthquake in Turkey comes just three weeks after a 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck the same region, in the Province of Van, killing 600 people. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
