The Harry Potter films became the movie franchise that has made the most money, amassing some 6.4 billion US dollars at the box office.

And the film will continue to earn more cash even after the last installment was released earlier this year. Warners Brothers is now offering Harry Potter fans a chance to have a tour at the film's set in North London, including the Diagon Alley where all young wizards visit to get everything on the Hogwarts supply list.

London's mayor Boris Johnson, along with invited guests, got their first glimpse of what's tipped to be next year's hottest visitor attraction.

"I see loads of people coming from around Europe and around the world. It's got great communications from the centre of London so as from my point of view as the major of London it's great for us because it's going to mean jobs for the tourist business, jobs in our hotel trade and it's a fine fine addition to our tourist offer."

All eight of the Harry Potter movies were filmed at the Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden. Guests will have the opportunity to experience it firsthand some of their favorite locations, including the Dumbledore's office, the Ministry of Magic, Harry Potter's famous cupboard under the stairs, the Gryffindor dormitory, the Weasley kitchen, the Hogwarts bridge, while others are still to be announced.

Josh Berger, President and Managing Director of Warner Bros. UK said, "Well, the public can expect to see all of the sets and all of the imagery that they've seen in all eight of the Harry Potter films; it's all here, the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, where we're standing right now, and pretty much everything else that is recognisable, and also how these incredible sets were made. It will give great insight into how these movies, in particular, were produced and made right here in Britain."

The public will also get an insight into how some of the special effects were created.Josh Berger said, "There's no where in the world where Britain can be taught a lesson in the creative industries, in film making in particular. Some of the finest movies made today are made right here."

By buying and reopening the Leavesden studios, Warner Bros has also safeguarded thousands of jobs. It's now the only Hollywood film studio that has a permanent base in the UK."The fact that we're here with these studios is going to increase capacity quite substantially and we believe that that capacity is going to be used up, so more and more movies are going to be made in Britain and in and around London than ever before."

The 100 million-pound complex is still under construction, and Warner Brothers intends to bring a total of seven sets together in one huge attraction. Hopefully with a little Potter magic, it's set to open to the public at the end of March next year.
