South Korean protesters denounce the North Korean regime as they hack into the flag of their reclusive neighbour. They're protesting against the hereditary power succession which will see the late leader Kim Jong-il replaced by his son Kim Jong-un.

Protest Leader Kim Jin-Cheol: "Hereditary succession by Kim Jong-un is nonsense! World history has no such case of hereditary succession for three generations. Kim Jong-un's Communist regime would definitely be overthrown sooner or later by our North Korean brothers just like those in the Middle East countries were toppled by the Jasmine movements.

Kim Jong-un has been appointed successor but it is likely he will share power with senior officials including his aunt and uncle. Protesters also denounced South Korea's pro-North groups who have been seeking to visit the North to mourn Kim Jong-il.

The protest comes as two groups - one delegation led by the widow of South Korea's former President Kim Dae-jung and another from the Hyundai business group - have already crossed the border to pay their respects. (Lily Grimes/ Reuters)
