MMA FIGHTER-TURNED ACTRESS IN "HAYWIRE"

　　All eyes on her. Mixed martial artist fighter-turned-actress Gina Carano hit the red carpet with her co-stars for the Los Angeles premiere of "Haywire," which has a plot that centers around her physically demanding lead role as Mallory Kane.

　　Directed by Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh, the action thriller brings other great talents including Channing Tatum, Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas and Michael Douglas, to complement the actress, who is also a former mixed martial arts champion.

　　Ewan Mcgregor: "It is almost like between the punches and the kicks, the way she re-adjust her body weight is totally the way of a fighter and it would be very hard to recreate that. I would like to think that I could do anything. But, there is something about that she is a fighter that is very interesting to watch"

　　"Haywire" tells the story of Mallory Kane, a super-secret spy that is hired to complete one last job for a faceless organization, that's responsible for carrying out operations in the dirtiest, most dangerous corners of the world.

　　She finds herself double crossed and betrayed by her own people, as she battles against other highly-skilled assassins to stay alive."Haywire" is slated for release in the U.S. and in Taiwan on January 20th.
