Music is in the air for Tony Bennett's fans in New York, as a new documentary about the legendary singer is premiered in the Tribeca Film Festival. [2]The documentary called "The Zen of Bennett" profiles Bennett's eternal quest for perfection, his philosophies of life and passion for music and art. The documentary was filmed during the recording of the his latest album "Duets II," which features some of the most respected voices of this era including Lady Gaga, the late Amy Winehouse, and Willie Nelson. [3]Produced by his son Danny, who also doubles as his manager, the flick gives fans a glimpse of the artist's creative process as he turns 85 years old. At the New York premiere, Bennett was excited to see what his son has produced. "I haven't seen it yet, so tonight is a very special night because I've heard so much about it and I can't wait to see what he created." [4]On the other hand, Danny said he is satisfied with the final product, saying that this film is relevant to a multitude of generations. [5]"We're very proud of it and it's absolutely a portrait of who he is today and for future generations." [6]The jazz singer is also well known for his paintings, and has been busy collecting the works he made during his stay in Australia not long time ago. "I was just collecting all the things I did in Australia - we just got back from Australia and I was putting them all together to get them printed out so that they stay permanent.
